The Rest of the Bay (Page in progress...more soon)

In case you hadn't heard, there is a city across the water from us that was featured in classic films like The Conversation, Zodiac and Fruit Fly. There are also a plethora of natural wonders to explore. Here are a few we think are worth checking out, but please feel free to ask us for recommendations for your specific interests.

Green Apple Books If you like dead trees or just want to stick it to iTunes for price fixing, this is your place. Serious book geek heaven. Also has a vinyl shop. San Francisco, Richmond district (aka the real SF Chinatown, aka C-town II), 6th and Clement

Muir Woods If you like live trees, especially, really, really, really tall ones, this is the place to go. While you're in the area, you may as well drive up to the top of Mt. Tamalpais and get a view of the whole Bay Area. Mll Valley

Dolores Park Skinny jeans, trustafarian hipsters, pot truffles and a some real classic SF kooks. Also has a sweet playground for the kids. San Francisco, 18th & Dolores

Bi-Rite Creamery Famed spot for ice cream. Expect a line if it's sunny out, or even if it's overcast and cold. If you can't wait, just get a pint to share; Seng recommends Salted Caramel, Honey Lavender or Earl Grey. San Francisco, 18th & Dolores

Philz Coffee Custom coffee without the bespoke pretension. Seng ordered a hot chocolate and they asked "How dark do you want it?" Yesssssss! The mocha tesora is bomb. Multiple locations

Fourbarrel If the phrase "fourth wave coffee" perks up your ears then, well, I just don't know what to do with you. No wi-fi which means you'll have to talk to your "friends" because this area is full of nerdphones clogging up the network. Run by a friend's sister's babydaddy. San Francisco, Mission District, Valencia btwn 14/15th
